Shaving the donor area

The first thing that is carried out is the shaving of the donor area. It is necessary that the hair is approximately 2 millimeters long for its extraction and subsequent implantation.

In cases where the length of the hair allows it, you can use the hair graft without shaving. Only a small area is shaved as a "little window" that would go unnoticed with the length of the hair.

Application of local anesthesia

The capillary graft does not require general anesthesia, it is only used locally. In this way the patient does not feel discomfort during the surgery.

Extraction of the necessary follicular units

Once the area is anesthetized, the follicular units estimated by the medical team are extracted. This is done with a punch with micromotor with which the follicles are extracted individually without damaging them.

When extracted, the follicular units are checked, separated and placed in Petri dishes for better preservation.

Incisions and implantation with FUE technique in areas with less density

In areas where there is no native hair, the surgeon makes the incisions with a sapphire scalpel and, subsequently, the follicular units are manually implanted.

Implantation with DHI in the densest areas

On the other hand, in the areas where native hair exists that has not yet fallen, the incisions and implantation are made simultaneously with the implanter. In this way, a greater density of the area is achieved without damaging the patient's hair.
